Jacques Callot

Inspired by If Romantic-Era Artists Ran D&D Campaigns (AKA 'a thin excuse for an image dump')
.

Jacques Callot runs a wilderness oriented crapsack world. Wilderness encounters are so frequent and so deadly that the PCs keep their muskets by their side even during dinner.

The players never know how their PCs will be killed, they just know that (a) they will be killed and (b) their death will be both unpleasant and public.
